The
Resident Evil 2 remake was announced back in 2015 and we didn't get any news about the project until the game was finally revealed at this year's E3 during the Sony press conference and it surely didn't disappoint. Everything was looking crisp, graphics were fantastic, gameplay was different than the one in the original game but it is a welcomed change and, more importantly, it really felt like a proper
Resident Evil title.
Resident Evil 2 will be coming out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 25th of January in 2019 so there is still some time left until we finally get to play the game. In the mean time, the official
Resident Evil YouTube channel has released a new video of the demo shown at this year's E3, only this time without the developers commenting on it.
The gameplay video shows one of the main characters, Leon S. Kennedy, wandering around the Raccoon City Police Department as he discovers that it's not safer inside than it was outside of it. This is pretty much how the original game began and the
Resident Evil 2 remake has perfectly captured that horror atmosphere and sense of isolation.
