It seems that Capcom are really going all out with their new Resident Evil 2 remake, especially when it comes to catering to their original fanbase. Revealed at this year's E3, the Resident Evil 2 remake left everyone in the audience impressed by how great the game looked—becoming one of this year's E3's hot topics.

A few weeks ago, we reported that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game were getting a fantastic Collector's Edition that came with a bunch of collectibles for fans of the series. As per usual, the Collector's Edition would include stuff like the game's soundtrack, a nice Raccoon Police-themed box packaging, and some in-game costumes among other things. The Collector's Edition would retail for $199.99 USD and would be available exclusively at GameStop EB Games.

Well, it turns out Japan is doing us one better by offering players a Resident Evil 2 Premium Edition that will include one of the classic typewriters found in Save Rooms from earlier Resident Evil titles. The typewriter is available with Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices and can be connected via Bluetooth.

The Resident Evil 2 Premium Edition will also include the Leon S. Kennedy statue, the game's official soundtrack, an official art book, DLC voucher, the physical copy of the game, a Raccoon Police poster, and four classic non-functional ink ribbons. Not only that but the Premium Edition is estimated to cost around $900 USD—making it quite an item for hardcore Resident Evil collectors.
