Capcom's long-awaited, and highly anticipated Resident Evil 3 remake was finally released last friday, giving players the chance to experience the direct sequel to the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 2 remake; a game that actually takes palce during the same-ish time span, and is widely considered as a parallel story.

Resident Evil 3 is actually the third remake in the mainline Resident Evil series, since the very first title was remade for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002, and Resident Evil 2 got the remake treatment in January of 2019 — although the first game was mainly a remaster that somewhat kept the same controls and structure.

With the success that the Resident Evil 2 remake saw upon releasing, and the success that Resident Evil 3 has had since launching last week, Capcom is now conducting a Resident Evil-themed survey; asking players various questions about the series, as a whole, as well as the recently released title.

What's more interesting is the fact that Capcom wants to know if players would ever want for the developer to keep remaking other Resident Evil games down the line. Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, it has been rumoured that Capcom could be working on Resident Evil 8, and that this game would be a first-person survival horror title like its predecessor.

We don't have official information on Resident Evil 8, but it seems that players would be more than willing to see Capcom remaking other games in the series — especially those who have been playing Resident Evil since the first game came out.

To answer Capcom's Resident Evil survey, be sure to click right here and let them know whether you want more remakes in the near future, or a brand-new entry in the long-running survival horror series.

Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weapon; Nemesis! Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe where four survivors face-off against a sinister Mastermind.

Resident Evil 3 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
