Resident Evil 3 was finally released last Friday, and it wasn't just the remade version of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis that is included, as Capcom also added an asymmetrical multiplayer-survival game in the form of Resident Evil Resistance; a game that was actually announced before the aforementioned remake.
Before we knew about the Resident Evil 3 remake, fans of the series were not very welcoming of the then called Project Resistance, but Capcom has still managed to keep fans interested in this new multiplayer experience.
The problem was never the game per se, but the fact that it wasn't a fully fledged Resident Evil game; with Capcom announcing Resident Evil 3, and that Resident Evil Resistance was going to be included with the remake, fans were more than willing to give this new game a shot.
Now that both games have been out for almost a week, Capcom has revealed that they're still not done with Resident Evil Revelations, as they have revealed that even more content is coming to the game in the coming months.
As revealed by the developer, Jill Valentine will be joining Resident Evil Resistance as one of the survivors, and she will become available next Friday the 17th of April. Capcom also reveals that a secret character will be added in May, and they have yet to reveal what's in store for players In June, July, and onwards.
Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weapon; Nemesis! Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe where four survivors face-off against a sinister Mastermind.
Resident Evil 3 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
