Capcom's remake of Resident Evil 2 is set to release in January and, according to this new rumour, we'll be getting a demo for it at some point in December.

Twitter user Anthony Robert (@DevelopeAnthony) recently made claims that, following the release of a brand new trailer for the remake, a demo will drop for the game about half-way through the month.

To back up his claims, he shared some screenshots of the application on his PlayStation 4 home-screen. However, many were still skeptical so'@DevelopeAnthony went as far as to upload a video of the application in-action.

Though there's some evidence, it certainly isn't thorough enough to be wholeheartedly believed or called a leak. However, should another trailer for the Resident Evil 2 remake drop at some point during the first half of December, we'll know that there's something to this.

What do you think of the tweets? Do you believe @DevelopeAnthony's claims?

Resident Evil 2 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25th, 2019.
