According to the latest rumour going around the internet, Capcom may actually be working on yet another Residnet Evil game — besides the soon-to-be-released
Resident Evil 3 — and chances are, according to a trusty source, that this mysterious game could be releasing as soon as next year.
This information comes from Twitter user @AestheticGamer1, who has been building up a reputation for themselves by accurately leaking information that has turned out to be veridic. The insider also reveals that there won't be any more
Resident Evil remakes after
Resident Evil 3 releases early in April.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the information this user leaked is the fact that other remakes in the same vein of
Resident Evil 2 and
Resident Evil 3 are currently in the works; remakes that are using the RE Engine, and that we will be knowing about very soon.
Just last month,
Capcom filed trademarks for Dino Crisis, as well as other classic titles, and the fact that
Resident Evil and
Dino Crisis share a lot of similarities, this could well be the game that Capcom will soon be unveiling. Regardless, this is definitely exciting news.
