Resident Evil 3 originally released back in 1999 for the PlayStation, GameCube, and the like. The action-horror title will be returning with modern graphics on April 3rd, 2020 — releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game follows Jill Valentine as she fights her way through zombie hordes in Raccoon City whilst being hunted by the monstrous and terrifying Nemesis T-Type.
The remake was
officially announced earlier today during Sony PlayStation's State of Play livestream — with an exciting announcement trailer that you can check out below. Along with the official announcement, the Resident Evil 3 remake was made available to pre-order. There are a variety of different versions available, the most tantalising of those being the Collector's Edition.
The Collector's Edition includes both a physical copy of the game itself as well as a digital copy of the game's soundtrack. The Resident Evil 2 remake Collector's Edition included a figurine of Leon Kennedy; the
Resident Evil 3 Collector's Edition contains an 11" Jill Valentine Figurine. There's also a hardcover art book and a double-sided poster which features a map of Raccoon City.
Every pre-order variant will include the exclusive Classic Costume Pack which features the original looks of Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira, from the 1999 game, as wearable skins. You can check out an official image of all that's included in the Collector's Edition below (via
