Back in November, a rumour that suggested Capcom was working on a
Resident Evil 3 remake started doing the rounds, a rumour that was unofficially confirmed to be true thanks to some covers of the remake being added to the PlayStation Network.
Well, during today's State of Play presentation hosted by Sony, Capcom took the opportunity to officially unveil
Resident Evil 3 remake with a phenomenal, and nostalgic announcement trailer that takes us back to Raccoon City circa 1998.
The good news don't end there, since Capcom also confirmed that the
Resident Evil 3 remake will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the
3rd of April in 2020; finally giving players the chance to replay this amazing classic that hasn't be re-released in almost 20 years.
Pre-orders for the game are currently available, and those who pre-order will get the classic costume pack for Jill Valentine and Carlos Olivera. Capcom has yet to provide a link to pre-order, but they'll likely do this soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out the announcement trailer for the
