Resident Evil 2 remake was announced all the way back in 2015 and was finally released in January of the year. it didn't take long until this remade version of the 1998 survival-horror title became a massive hit, which made Capcom consider remaking more titles in the series.
Capcom had already toyed with the idea of remaking
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis if fans really asked for it, and they finally announced that a
Resident Evil 3 remake was not only already in the works, but that it will be relesing in April of next year.
According to a recent interview with Famitsu,
Resident Evil 3 Producers Masao Kawada and Peter J. Fabiano have revealed that the game is actually in its final adjustments stage, and that the game will be more action-oriented than the
Resident Evil 2 remake.
The producers also reveal that the developers focused on making players know how strong Jill Valentine is in the
Resident Evil 3 remake, while also showing her beautifulness, and slightly redesigning her in the same way that they did with Claire Redfield in the new
Resident Evil 2.
What's likely the best news here, is that Masao Kawada reassures that
Resident Evil 3 will not be delayed, and that Capcom is already working on polishing the final details; revealing that the game is at around 90% completion.
Resident Evil 3 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC beginning April 3rd, 2020! Return to Raccoon City as Jill Valentine escapes an unstoppable pursuer in this re-imagining of the survival horror classic.
