Insomniac Games has received resounding praise for their newest title: Marvel's Spider-Man. While almost every aspect of the game is incredible, from its story to its gameplay, it's admittedly not too challenging - hence why many fans have been advocating for a "New Game +" mode.
Originating back in 1995 with beloved role-playing game Chrono Trigger, New Game + is an unlockable mode which allows the player to start a new game after they finish it at least once. The mode serves as a means of making a game more challenging - it'll see features of the original playthrough stripped away or a couple of new ones added.
A fan of Insomniac's recent hit tweeted at the developer, asking whether they plan to add a New Game + feature to the game. Insomniac immediately and transparently got back to them, confirming that they're "working on it now".

The question is no longer whether Insomniac is going to add a New Game + mode, but rather when. Many seems to believe that it will arrive at some point during the holidays following its planned DLC content, but since the developer said that they're "polishing it up", perhaps it'll be with us relatively soon.
