When Insomniac Games revealed MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, during the special PlayStation 5 video game showcase last month, we got to see that the game does really look liek a next-gen title, and not just a glorified expansion of the PlayStation 4 game.
The developers have slowly been revealing new details about the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive title, although information about the more technical aspects of the game have not been shared as of yet. Sure, the game looks great, but is it justified to release it on the PlayStation 5 and not on its current-gen counterpart?
Well, yes. It is 100% justified. What's more, the developers at Insomniac Games have revealed today that MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will feature an optional performance mode, which will make the game look better than ever.
As revealed by Insomniac Games, this performance mode will allow players to run MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales in 4K resolution and at 60 frames per second — which is great, considering that not even the PlayStation 4 Pro version of its predecessor allowed the game to run in either 4K or 60 FPS.
Insomniac Games has yet to reveal the game's official release date, but it is expected to launch this Holiday alongside the coveted PlayStation 5. Hopefully we'll get another top quality trailer soon, since Spider-Man fans cannot wait to see and know more of this promising Miles Morales-centred title.
MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is expected to launch this Holiday exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
