SPIDER-MAN PS4 Will Allow Players To Change The Time Of Day & The Weather After They Complete The Main Story

Marvel and Insomniac’s upcoming Spider-Man game is still a few months away, but fans are still incredibly excited to take control of everyone’s favorite friendly neighborhood web-slinger. Already players can expect to see a variety of features included in the game, which will allow them to feel like they are wielding the iconic web-shooters themselves, but some fans still want to see more ways to interact with Spidey's world.
Fortunately for those hoping for more, a brand-new feature of the game has been revealed. During an appearance on the Game Informer Show, Insomniac’s Bryan Intihar answered numerous questions about Spider-Man PS4. Along with these answers, the Creative Director revealed that players will be able to alter their environment after completing the story:
“The truth is, this is a very story heavy game, and as you guys know a lot of great games use time of day to communicate a certain feel/vibe to the situation [depending] where you are in the story, so we want to make sure that we were communicating a certain feeling to the player while they were first making their way through the main story. That being said, when you do finish the game you can actually change time of day and weather yourself manually.”
While not a feature that will completely alter the gameplay of Spider-Man, it is a nice little feature that will allow players to be more involved in the game. Also, the comics have seen Peter Parker deal with some of the harsher weather that hits New York, like heavy rain fall, while patrolling the city so it will be a nice way for fans to potentially recreate these moments.
