According to new rumors, Warner Bros. and TT Games could be working on two new LEGO games. The rumor comes via ComicBook by way of "sources linked to WB."
The first would be LEGO video game based on Disney Pixar's The Incredibles franchise. The game is rumored to be titled LEGO Incredibles 2, which would seemingly be a tie-in to the upcoming sequel slated to hit theaters June 15, 2018. Details are sparse at the moment, but the rumored project would presumably recap the events of the original film and work in plot elements from its sequel. This rumor is seemingly backed by previous leaks of a "catalogue page that specified the LEGO Incredible 2 playsets were planned for May 2018 alongside an unannounced video game linked to an unspecified Pixar property," according to Comicbook.com.
The second LEGO game is said to be based around DC Comics characters. More specifically, it will be all about the villains of the DC Universe. Sources are referring to the game as LEGO DC Villains or LEGO DC Supervillains, and its said to feature "LEGO renditions of DC staples such as Harley Quinn, The Joker, and Lex Luthor."
Both games are said to be in development at TT Games, which has been the studio responsible for most of the main LEGO games since 2004's LEGO Star Wars.
LEGO Incredibles 2 is expected to release around the theatrical debut of the film in June, and two sources claim LEGO DC Villains is expected "at some point over the next year." Again, none of this has been officially announced, so take these rumors with a grain of salt.
