Marvel's Avengers hasn't had the easiest of times since launching, but Spider-Man's long-awaited debut on the PlayStation version of the game finally takes place later this month. November 30 is the big day, and thanks to IGN, we have a cinematic trailer with the web-slinger in action.
It's a shame there's no gameplay footage here as that's going to be the decider when it comes to whether Spidey can actually work in a game like this one. However, Square Enix did a good job with Hawkeye and Black Panther, so we're looking forward to getting hands-on with this Spider-Man.
Regardless, this trailer is spectacular and an exciting glimpse at what the hero will bring to the game.
"Peter Parker uncovers AIM's new plan to acquire technology that could make their Synthoid army unstoppable and total domination inevitable," reads the description for the "Great Power" Hero Event. "He must partner with the Avengers to stop this looming threat, and forms a tentative friendship with Ms. Marvel and Black Widow while keeping his identity hidden. As a Hero accustomed to working solo, he struggles with the new dynamics of working with a team. Will he join up full-time with the Avengers, or stay independent in his fight against AIM?"
