Ever since Yakuza 6: The Song of Life released in 2016(and early in 2018 here in the West), bringing the series to an end, and giving players an emotional story that wrapped the story they had been following sine the first game launched for the PlayStation 2 in 2005.
Developer Ryū ga Gotoku and Sega still had a few surprises in store for fans of the Yakuza series, as they announced that a brand-new entry in the series was being developed in the form of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and that it would be featuring a new protagonist.
On top of this, Yakuza: Like a Dragon would also feature RPG elements, particularly in its combat system; opting for a turn-based combat system instead of the more traditional action-oriented combat seen in all of the seires' previousentries.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is still a few months away from becoming available here in the West, releasing at some point in November of this year, and the developers have wasted no time releasing new information about the upcoming title.
The developers have revealed that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will feature an English dub, and they have already revealed the list of actors that will be lending their voices to bring these characters to life; including legendary actor George Takei, who will be voicing one of the game's supporting characters.
In the most recent behind the scenes video released by Sega, players are introduced to voice actor Andrew Morgado, who is giving away some details about Koichi Adachi, the character he's voicing in the game, and what makes him a compelling character.
