Earlier today, Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku released an action-packed trailer for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Thanks to the people over at IGN, who got the exclusive, we also found out that the game will be releasing at a yet-to-be-determined date in November of this year.
It was also revealed that the Xbox Series X version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon will actually be available when Microsoft's next-gen console finally hits store shelves, and that the PlayStation 5 version still doesn't have an official release date; hopefully, it will release closer to the console's launch.
IGN has laso got some very interesting information in regards to the English dub for Yakuza: Like a Dragon, as the whole cast of actors has been revealed, and renowned actor George Takei will be playing an integral role; voicing supporting character Masumi Arakawa.
"I can't wait for the world to hear our voices in the English release of Yakuza: Like a Dragon," Takei revealed in the official announcement video for the English dub of Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
As per the rest of the voice actors doing the English dub, Yakuza: Like a Dragon main protagonist Ichiban Kasuga will be voiced by Kaiji Tang, who revealed on Twitter that he was "honored and humbled to step into the shoes of Ichiban Kasuga," and thanking the people over at Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku.
The list of actors bringing the characters in Yakuza: Like a Dragon to life is the following:
-Kaiji Tang as Ichiban Kasuga, protagonist of the story returning from 18 years spent in prison
-George Takei as Masumi Arakawa, patriarch of the Arakawa Family
-Andrew Morgado as Koichi Adachi, an ex-cop on the search for truth
-Greg Chun as Yu Nanba, downtrodden former nurse making amends with the world
-Elizabeth Maxwell as Saeko Mukoda, a bar hostess on a mission

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Windows 10 in November; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release dates yet to be determined.
