In July of last year, Spike Chunsoft announced that they were working on a new title called
AI: The Sonium Files, which was revealed to be a new project by game director Kotaro Uchikoshki, and that it would be releasing for home consoles and PC.
Spike Chunsoft didn't reveal much about this mysterious new project, except that it was supposed to release in July of 2019. It wasn't until May of this year that the developer revealed that the release date for
AI: The Sominum Files was being pushed back.
Thankfully,
AI: The Somnium Files has finally released today — becoming available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC(Steam) — and Spike Chunsoft has released a somewhat disturbing new trailer in order to celebrate.
It is also worth mentioning that physical copies for
AI: The Somnium Files have been delayed, although players will only have to wait until the
24th of September(exactly a week from today) in order to get their copies.
