Among Us is currently what's in — what's hip. The popular PC and mobile game, we're sure you've heard of it by now, is one of deception and investigation. Up to ten players participate in a single match in which one or two of them are imposters whose aim is to whittle down the crewmates until none remain. Crewmates obviously have to do their best to figure out who the killers are.
Once you're eliminated, you become a ghost. While a ghost, you can still complete any tasks you didn't complete while you were alive — your unfinished business, if you will. And you're still able to trigger sabotages if you were an imposter and eliminated. However, overall there's not a lot to do other than observe as ghosts.
Innersloth are concocting a solution to this, however. During Twitch's Weekly Gaming Show, Innersloth developer Forest Willard revealed that the team are considering adding such things as "Guardians Angels" to the game.
"We’ve thought of a lot about Guardian Angels and stuff like that, but it’s a difficult thing to pull off but we’re definitely thinking about those sort of things," the developer explained. What exactly he means by "Guardian Angels," we don't know for sure — but it certainly sounds tantalising.
Speculation has it that Guardian Angels will be like Imposter ghosts, however, for the Crewmates team. Guardian Angels will perhaps be able to assist living crewmates in some form or another, maybe by counter-acting sabotages and the like. What do you think this mysterious "Guardian Angels" update could entail?
