With Apex Legends set to kick of its second season of battle royale play, EA has released two new trailers highlighting some of the exciting new changes to come.
The first is an animated trailer that provides some narrative context for the new season. It's more designed to capure to capture the spirit of Apex Legends as it features some exhilerating moments with familiar legends like Mirage, Bangalore, and Octane. It also reveals the main cause of the major map changes coming to Kings Canyon; a giant EMP goes off, toppling a large tower, followed by the arrival of a horde of flyers and the leviathan.
The second trailer is focused more on the gameplay of Apex Legends, particularly with what's new in Season 2 - Battle Charge. The video offers glimpses of the transformed map, including the arrival of some dangerous new beasts.
We also get to see footage of Wattson, the 10th playable Legend, as well as glimpses of the heavy-hitting L-STAR machine gun and some of the new cosmetics coming with the Season 2 Battle Pass.
Apex Legends Season 2 - Battle Charge goes live on July 2.
