One Piece: World Seeker is the first open-world video game based on Eiichiro Oda's acclaimed One Piece series of manga and anime, coming out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in a bit over a week, on the 15th of March.

So far, we know that the game will be taking place in the new Jail Island, where Luffy and his Straw Hat crew will be going on quests and run into some classic enemies from the One Piece series such as the World Government and Germa 66.

We also know that One Piece: World Seeker features an original story by Eiichiro Oda himself, reassuring fans that the game, in regards to the narrative, will be held to the high standard fans have come to expect from One Piece.

For those fans who can't wait any longer for One Piece: World Seeker to finally come out, Bandai Namco has released a brand-new video with the action-packed opening cutscene for the game.

The Straw Hat crew arrives on Jail Island where an ominous sense of danger seems to be looming. What could have attracted the World Government and the Germa 66 to this place?

One Piece: World Seeker will be available for the PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC on the 15th of March.
