NBA Playgrounds is a 2 on 2 arcade style basketball game made by Saber Interactive. It is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on May 9th for only $19.99.
Both current and retired basketball players are included in the game, allowing players to duel locally or over multiplayer to see who is the better basketball player. Saber has even mentioned that 100's more famous players will be added after the game's launch.
Another feature coming to the game is that of a lottery system that allows in-game rewards, such as "over the top" dunks and three point shots. Enough stuff to help players differentiate themselves from their teammates and competitors. Players will also be able to get involved in tournaments if they so choose.
