Not only will LeBron James feature on the cover of the 20th Anniversary Edition of NBA 2K19, he'll also get one of the game's highest, if not the highest, player ratings.
For the new version, he's been given a 98, which seems about right as he currently reigns supreme as the best basketball player in the world, although Golden State Warriors fans may disagree. There are also some LBJ fans that do believe he should've been given a 99 - the highest rating in the game - but considering that he's lost four of the last five NBA Finals and is not expected to contend seriously this coming season, it makes sense that the game left him some room to improve.
This past season, James was nearly superhuman yet again, appearing in every single game for the Cleveland Cavaliers while averaging 27.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 9.1 apg, 1.4 spg, and 0.9 bpg. He finished second in the NBA MVP race, behind Houston Rockets guard James Harden.
