Today we received the news that British artist Bob Wakelin has passed away via the following tweet:
Mr. Wakelin's striking covers are instantly recognisable to gamers who played NES classics like Contra. He was quite prolific in his time and produced upto 3 covers a week. Often, the covers were even more impressive than the games themselves.
