Bomb Chicken is a 2D action puzzle platformer developed and published by independent studio Nitrome Games for the Nintendo Switch. The game was initially announced for Nintendo's handheld hybrid console but it will also be released for PC and Mac on Steam at a later yet-to-be-determined date.
The premise of the game is to lay stacks of eggs(bombs) to reach certain areas, kick the bombs to wipe out deadly native wildlife, and solve puzzle by using these bombs.
Bomb Chicken features simple controls that are easy to pick up, which gets players right into the action in three huge worlds to explore.
Bomb Chicken will also have lots of traps, enemies and bosses to defeat like a proper 2D adventure game, featuring the ultimate platforming carnage(as described by the developer). Bombs are unlimited so players will never run out of fun and explosive platforming action. As an extra to the Nintendo Switch version of the game,
Bomb Chicken will make use of the Joy-Con's HD Rumble feature to make the game even more immersive.
