Call of Cthulhu was officially announced during this year's E3 with a mysterious, and enthralling trailer.
Call of Cthulhu will see players traversing through the mysterious Darkwater Island and exploring an imploring mansion that belonged to the Hawkins Family before their tragic death. Players take control of private investigator Edward Pierce, as they try to uncover the secrets behind the mysterious death of the Hawkins Family by talking to Darkwater Island locals.
Another interesting aspect in Cyanide Studios' take on H.P. Lovecraft's classic short story is that the game will focus on Edward Pierce's mental sanity, adding elements of psychological horror on top of all the mystery surrounding Darkwater Island and the Hawkins mansion.
