Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is expanding upon the launch of Season One with a new content drop this week that'll add a new game mode, operator, maps, and Spec Ops missions.
The Season One "refresh" introduces the new Cranked game mode,
"a fast-paced, high octane Deathmatch where players race against the clock to get kills or suffer an explosive fate." Also coming in the refresh are new co-op Special Ops experiences: Operation Strongbox, Classic Special Ops Disinform, and Classic Special Ops Bomb Squad.
The new Operator, Nikto, will be available via a new bundle that includes the character along with a watch, weapon blueprints, and customization items. Classic multiplayer maps Vacant and Shipment will also arrive, while the Docks map will get a holiday-themed reskin called Over Winter.
All of this new content will be available across all platforms tomorrow, with more content for Season One still to come. In addition to this content, a free gift pack will be available for all players in the "Just For You" section of the store starting December 18. And from December 20-23, you can score double weapon XP.
Jump in tomorrow and revisit classic maps like Vacant and Shipment. Grind the new multiplayer game mode Cranked, and experience all-new Special Ops missions. Available December 18 on all platforms.
