When it comes to sales numbers,
Steep is no
Rainbow Six: Siege (or even
For Honor) and it's telling that Ubisoft canceled the game's Nintendo Switch version a few months ago. While the majority of players have seemingly moved on, Ubisoft still believes and invests in the project, adding new content regularly. The latest (and completely) free update will allow you to compete with your friends in PvP.
Yes, Ubisoft Annecy's
Steep will finally get a proper PvP online mode two years after its initial market debut. It's the second Ubisoft game to get a player-vs-player mode this month, following
The Crew 2's
Demolition Derby expansion. To enjoy this mode, all you need to do is join the multiplayer lobby in the Mountain View and Ubisoft's matchmaking system will group you with up to three other players.
The expansion will let you play together with your friends to tackle the same dedicated objectives together and as soon as everyone is ready, a 5-second timer will appear and count down to the start of the match. When the countdown reaches zero, the real competition begins, giving you a chance to show the world what you are made of. Be sure to check out this major
Steep update down below:
Ride a massive open world of the Alps. Go solo or drop in side by side with other players. Record and share the most insane stunts ever captured. Dare your friends to try out your custom trails, then challenge the world to beat your best tricks and relive your most epic wipeouts. The mountain is yours.
Steep is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC NOW!
