Yet another well-known celebrity has attached themselves to highly-anticipated and mysterious upcoming game Death Stranding.
Comedian and talk-show host Conan O'Brien recently took to Twitter to tease that he's shot something "super secret" with Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima. Attached to the tweet is an image of Conan stood beside the legendary game director whom he met during his recent visit to Japan.

Kojima himself also tweeted about Conan's visit:
This development is certainly intriguing, but more so it's unexpected. Great actors like Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Lea Seydoux make sense, but given the game's seemingly dark tone, a comedian may not be the best fit for a role.
Therefore many have speculated that Conan may have more to do with some kind of promotion for the game, like a trailer, or more fittingly perhaps one of his amusing Clueless Gamer segments (in which he takes on popular video games) - but even then, given that Death Stranding is currently in-development, that would be ludicrous.
Conan has made cameo appearances in video-games before such as in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, in which he played a Lego-version of himself, so that's likely the best bet - though we'll just have to wait and see whether that's the case.
What do you think? How does Conan O'Brien fit into the ever-expanding conspiracy theory that is Death Stranding?
Death Stranding is currently in development for PS4 and doesn't yet have a set release date.
