Fans were recently treated to the first thirteen minutes of Remedy Entertainment's Control, and now thanks to a recent interview with Gaming Bolt, Game Director Mikael Kasurinen and Narrative Designer Brooke Maggs have revealed new details on the upcoming game.
During the course of site's extensive interview, the developers touched upon a number of different topics. And while not all of the information revealed during their conversation was new, they did address one significant topic: The game's length.
"We don’t have any accurate measurements because it’s a complicated, large game that can be played through in multiple ways. But the overall numbers that we’ve got, if you play the main campaign and do a few side missions, it’s like 15 to 20 hours."
Although the latest title from Remedy has been described as being a metroidvania-style game, a playthrough that lasts about twenty hours is generally what one would expect from a large linear game.
Control is currently set to be released on August 27, 2019
