The Campo Santo crew might be working hard on their next big thing,
In the Valley of Gods, a single-player first-person adventure that will take you on a journey allowing you to explore a remote and ancient valley in the Egyptian desert, but the young studio hasn’t forgotten about Nintendo Switch players who would love to check out Campo Santo's first critically acclaimed title,
Firewatch.
Campo Santo has announced that
Firewatch is coming to Nintendo Switch on December 17th and will be available in the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Japan eShops. According to the developer, the price of the game will apparently be the same as it is on other platforms ($19.99 in the US), so you won't have to worry about Switch tax for once. Currently, there's no word on a physical release.
At its core,
Firewatch is a walking simulator, but it's so much more, as it features a brilliant script, great voice-acting performances, and stunning art direction that have been appreciated by critics and players alike around the world.
Firewatch is a video game about adults having adult conversations about adult things, so if you plan on playing with a younger gamer, that might be good to know going in.
Firewatch is a mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness, where your only emotional lifeline is the person on the other end of a handheld radio.
Firewatch is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac OS, Microsoft Windows, and Linux NOW, coming to Nintendo Switch on December 17th.
