Did You Catch Boomer’s Easter Egg In Ubisoft’s FAR CRY NEW DAWN?
If you played Far Cry 5, you probably really liked Boomer the dog, your loyal yet ferocious companion. Ubisoft was sneaky enough to include an easter egg of one of the most popular characters.
In case you did not notice, Boomer is absent in Far Cry New Dawn, and that could be a result of the 17 years between this game and Far Cry 5. However, Ubisoft was kind enough to include a small nod to the good boy; he is present in another way.
To be able to experience this easter egg, just travel to the Fang Centre, where you will encounter a church with a tunnel. Go through the tunnel and you will find a gravestone which seems to have no name on it due to a piece of wood covering it. Shoot it down and the easter egg will be revealed, the name of Boomer will be engraved on it.
Now that Boomer is gone, Ubisoft decided to include two more companions, a new dog named Timber and a giant boar by the name of Horatio. Players will also be able to interact with many more creatures including bisons, cougars, chickens and deer.
Survive a post-apocalyptic frontier as you build up your aresenal of weapons to battle the Highwaymen and their leaders, the Twins, in Far Cry New Dawn.
Far Cry New Dawn is now available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC
