DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN II Launches On Consoles This Summer As DEFINITIVE EDITION Will Be Free For PC Players

Divinity: Original Sin 2 launched on PC last year and immediately became 2017's highest-rated game on PC with an amazing 93% on Metacritic with 72 reviews. Larian's sequel has not only fixed the mistakes on the first chapter, but also introduced a lot of new, deep gameplay mechanisms. It's not the end of the road for the second part as the game will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in August.

But it won't be "just" the original version of Divinity: Original Sin 2 as Larian is working hard on the Definite Edition of the game that will include "thousands of tweaks and changes," from a revised story, fresh content, controller support, to some new gameplay features. What's even better, you can check out the game on your Xbox One right now thanks to the Xbox Game Preview.

That's not all, as Larian has prepared something truly special for the owners of the "original" version of the sequel. The PC users will have a unique chance to download a special update that will automatically add Definite Edition to their libraries on both Steam and GOG.

The Divine is dead. The Void is everywhere. And Sourcerers are to blame. The Magisters of the Divine Order set out to cure Rivellon of the threat posed by Sourcerers. Sourcerers... like you. You’ve been captured and sent to Fort Joy, where you will be 'cured' of your affliction. A cure that may cost you dearly.
