DuckTales: Remastered, the high-definition remake of the classic action-platformer originally released for the NES, is leaving digital storefronts this week. Capcom announced the game will no longer be available for purchase beginning Thursday, August 8.
Capcom is giving fans one last chance to buy it at a discount of 75 percent "on most platforms" before it gets removed.
Thankfully, if you've already purchased
DuckTales: Remastered or buy it before its removal, you'll still be able to access and play the game. The disc-based versions will still install and play normally, and if you bought it digitally, you'll still be able to re-downloade it even after it's removed.
Here are the expected times
DuckTales: Remastered will be removed:
-
Wii U – August 9, 4:59 PM PDT
-
PlayStation 3 – August 9, 8AM PDT
-
Xbox 360, Xbox One (via Backwards Compatibility) – August 8, 5 PM PDT
-
Steam (PC) – 4:59 PM PDT
