Bethesda confirmed a long-time rumour that they're working on a "brand-new, next generation" science-fiction adventure game.

The developer announced Starfield as the final reveal of their E3 conference. This new IP will be Bethesda's first in a whopping 25 years.

Bethesda Game Studios boss Todd Howard explained that Starfield is a next-gen single-player adventure - and that's all the information we got - along with an intriguing teaser trailer.

“Starfield is a game we have spent years thinking about and working on,” said Howard. “Something we feel uniquely positioned to deliver.”

We fill most likely have to wait until Bethesda's 2019 E3 conference to find out more - but based on Bethesda's other fan-favourite properties, we're certain that whatever it is will be excellent.
