Planet Alpha is being made by Adrian Lazar and his small team, the developers who previously worked on the
Hitman and
Kane & Lynch series for IO Interactive.
Alpha is a side-scrolling platformer which mixes puzzles and gameplay mechanisms borrowed from the stealth genre taking you on an adventure that takes place in a living alien world where you have the ability to control the day and night.
Lazar has been working on
Planet Alpha since 2014 and his vision for the project is simple - you have the ability to rotate a planet as the world of the fascinating platformer is affected by the solar cycle, and as you progress you’ll discover even more unique gifts. Developer
Planet Alpha ApS promises "
creative puzzles, stealth mechanics and a unique art style to create an unforgettable experience."
The game will be published by Team17 (the company responsible for the
Worms series).
Planet Alpha is set to release this fall on PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Take a look:
Planet Alpha, a beautiful alien world filled with mystery and danger. Pursued by relentless enemies, you must harness the power of night and day as you struggle to survive.
