English Support And Release Date For NEKOPARA VOL. 2 Announced
Developer NEKO WORKs' casual indie video game, Nekopara Vol. 2, has shared its official release date and the languages it will support. Here is more information on the game.
Nekopara Vol. 2 has an official release date and language support options now. Developer Neko Works and publisher CFK have confirmed the February 14 release date and the following language options as subtitles in the game, the visual novel has Japanese audio: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The visual novel will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The first game in the series, Nekopara Vol. 1, originally launched for the PC via Steam back in December 29, 2014. The next console to get the game was the PlayStation 4 on November 2, 2018. The original date for this release was July 4 but it was delayed in order to improve the game. The next console to get the game was the Nintendo Switch on July 4 with a worldwide release. For players wanting to test out the game before buying it for $9.99, there is a free demo in the Steam site.
An OVA adaptation was inspired by the visual novel and hit the web on December 2017. This OVA project was launched on Steam as a companion to the visual novel and became one of Steam's top earners for that month. A manga series was later launched on March 2018 as the first book adaptation and has been published by ASCII Media Works since, readers can catch it in the Dengeki G's Comic magazine.
