ESPN Magazine, one of the most popular and heaviest sports publications in the entertainment world, has announced that Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, one of the best-known streamers and professional video game players of the moment, will be the image of its next issue. This is the first time the magazine dedicates its cover to an eSports player.

Blevins himself has tweeted it, confirming that he feels very excited to be the first professional player to hit the cover. The issue will be presented in full on ESPN Sportscenter, a program of the chain.

Under the title "The Legend of Ninja", it will include a special interview and a dossier with some of the highlights of his career. The appearance of Ninja is a new step of ESPN towards the normalization of eSports, turning them into a sport more than a closed circuit and isolated from the main disciplines.

Since 2016, the chain broadcasts finals and tournaments of different video games, and have supported the celebration of championships of different depth. Also, the choice of Ninja is not casual.

He is a famous figure with millions of subscribers and spectators, capable of bringing together the top professionals on the planet to compete in a Fortnite tournament at E3. His fame is such that he has ousted Cristiano Ronaldo in social networks and generates more than $500,000 a month.
