Arc System Works has taken an interesting approach with the upcoming Guilty Gear - Strive -, as they have decided to slowly introduce the game's roster by revealing them with each and every trailer they release for the fighting title.
Introducing these characters in the way that the developer has is particularly interesting, as it also introduces these characters — and the Guilty Gear series, for that matter — to players who may not be familiar with them; even when all of the characters revealed have actually been part of the series since the first game came out.
Earlier this week, Arc System Works announced that a brand-new trailer for Guilty Gear - Strive - would be released during the weekend, and they have kept their promise — as they released an action-packed trailer that brings back veteran fighters Millia Rage and Zato-1.
Arc System Works has yet to reveal the release date for Guilty Gear - Strive -, but they have made fans aware that it will release at some point this year. Considering that they are still revealing veteran fighters, and no newcomers in sight, the developers are probably aiming for a Q3 or even Q4 release. We'll just have to keep waiting.
