Mortal Kombat is one of those series that has managed to keep a very consistent tone since its inception all the way back in the early 90s; from the amount of violence they included in every title, which is already a staple to the series, to the use of less traditional controls when it comes to fighting games.
Needless to say, NetherRealm Studios has always managed to make
Mortal Kombat games unique while keeping all of the elements that have made the series a household name; unlike other video game companies who keep alienating their loyal fanbase with every sketchy decision they make.
One of the many things that has made the
Mortal Kombat so unique is the fantastic music present in every single game, which gives gives the series a dark and epic tone that perfectly fits the overall dark tone of
Mortal Kombat.
Today, NetherRealm Studios has shared
Mortal Kombat 11's main theme titled "A Matter of Time", which alludes to the time travel premise this new game is presenting us, composed by Wilbert Roget, II and performed by The Budapest Scoring Symphony Orchestra.
