We had known for a while that NetherRealm Studios was going to be adding the T-800 — from the popular
Terminator series of films — to the roster in
Mortal Kombat 11, and yesterday we finally got our first look at the character in action with a brutal new trailer.
The character trailer for the Terminator was chock-full of references from the movies, which is something that the developers managed to seamlessly add to the T-800's moveset; making this iteration of the Terminator a very faithful representation.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is sadly not voicing the character, but the T-800 looks just like him and whoever is voicing him has done a wonderful job by perfectly capturing the essence of both the character and the Austrian actor.
If the trailer released yesterday wasn't enough, today's
Mortal Kombat Kast has given us over 30 minutes of gameplay that show off the T-800 in all of his glory — which will definitely make the waiting easier for fans who just can't wait until the 8th of October to play as the iconic T-800.
As a reminder, the Terminator becomes available in
Mortal Kombat 11 on the
8th of October for players who've purchased the Kombat Pack; those who want to purchase the character individully will have to wait a little bit longer.
