Although we have known for a while about the DLC characters that will be joining NetherRealm's
Mortal Kombat 11, if we are to believe the pretty reliable
information revealed by a dataminer a few weeks ago, Ed Boon has revealed that they will be officially revealing the new fighters next week.
According to the leak,
Mortal Kombat 11 would be getting some pretty iconic characters like the Terminator, Spawn, Ash Williams, and even the Joker, as well as some
Mortal Kombat series veterans like Fujin, Nightwolf, Shang Tsung(who has already been confirmed), Sheeva, and Sindel.
Bruce Capmbell even shared a tweet
shutting down the rumors that his character from Evil Dead, Ash Williams, was going to be a playable character in NetherRealm's
Mortal Kombat 11, although his tweet was pretty tongue in cheek; to the point some fans took his tweet as confirmation.
Mortal Kombat 11 has been selling remarkably well since its release,
managing to sell a staggering 1.8 million digital copies, as well as
becoming the month of April's best-selling title; not to mention that the game was also able to outsell
Mortal Kombat X by an impressive 400,000 copies.
The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. And featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.
Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
