Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is adding a new
Darkstalkers bundle to the game, which will feature new fighter skins based on characters from Capcom's popular, and missing in action, gothic fighting series.
This new
Darkstalkers bundle will add skins for Urien, Chun Li, Uri, Ed, and Menat—who will be wearing Donovan, Morrigan, Lilith, Demitri, Felicia, and Khaibit respectively.
Darkstalkers is a series of 2D fighting games developed and published by Capcom in the 90s, with the last game in the series being released in 1997 with
Darkstalkers 3. The series has, since, seen a few compilation of games but not a proper sequel like the one fans have been clamouring for for over 20 years—let's just let that sink in.
With Capcom bringing back Mega Man this year,
Darkstalkers fans may have a chance to, eventually, get the good news they've been wanting to hear for a long time; that
Darkstalkers 4 is being made. Until then, they can see their favourite characters as skins in
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.
