After the Grand Finals for Capcom Cup 2018,
Street Fighter V Producer Yoshinori Ono and Capcom officially announced Season 4 of
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, with Kage joining the ever-expanding roster of playable characters in the most recent update. Kage is available for purchase on PlayStation 4 and Steam starting today for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money,
Street Fighter V’s in-game currency.
According to Capcom, "
Kage lives to prove Ryu is nothing without him and seeks to challenge Akuma and Sagat, two of Ryu’s most notorious rivals." While Kage bears a resemblance to Ryu, he's not the Evil Ryu, as the embodiment of the evil spirit
Satsui no Hado has his own twist on the abilities you may be expecting, as Kage shares some techniques (or variations on) Ryu, Akuma and Evil Ryu’s moves.
The Capcom Pro Tour will also be returning next year, starting in March at Final Round. Unfortunately, Capcom revealed no other characters during yesterday’s show, creating more speculation about who will join Kage, as the Japanese studio is doing things "
differently" this season. Take a look at the latest fighter coming to
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition in the aforementioned reveal trailer down below:
