Brawlout is a party fighting game that was inspired by Nintendo's
Super Smash Bros. series. The game is developed by independent video game studio Angry Mob Games and published by Merge Studios.
The Nintendo Switch and Steam versions of the game are already available on their respective platforms, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions becoming available
today.
Much like Nintendo's fighting game, Brawlout also features a few guest fighters from other indie titles like Dead Cells from the
Dead Cells game, Juan Aguacate from
Guacamelee, the Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter, and Yooka and Laylee from the
Yooka-Laylee game.
Today, we get a brand new gameplay trailer that introduces us to Playtonic's
Yooka-Laylee main characters: Yooka and Laylee—which were inspired by Rare's Banjo and Kazooie from the popular 90s
Banjo-Kazooie franchise.

Striking the balance between the growing competitive scene and the genre’s party game roots, Brawlout hopes to cater to the veteran platform fighter, the casual fan and the newcomer looking to make their mark.
Brawlout is available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today.
