The previous installment in the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 1, contained a number of “war stories” that put player in the shoes of a wide variety of soldiers—including a female Bedouin rebel and an Australian message runner—as part of its single-player gameplay. This same element will be returning for Battlefield V.

Now, we don’t have a lot of info on all of the war stories that will be featured in the game when it launches in October, but during the Microsoft presentation at E3, the company provided a glimpse at the “Nordlys” chapter with a dramatic new teaser .

The cinematic teaser trailer reveals that the chapter will focus on a young female character, who is a young Norwegian Resistance fighter during the Nazi occupation.
