In a surprise announcement tonight, Sony revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be made available for free for PlayStation Plus members. Starting tonight, PS Plus members can download the game for free as part of June's offerings.
The announcement came on the heels of a trailer that showcased four of the five classic Black Ops maps that will be remastered and playable in Black Ops 4 's multiplayer. As previously revealed, Black Ops 4 will feature the following four maps: "Jungle," "Summit," and "Firing Range" from Black Ops 1, along with "Slums" from Black Ops 2. Each of these maps feature updated visuals and have been adapted for Black Ops 4's gameplay.
What's more, these four maps will also be playable in Black Ops 3 if you pre-order Black Ops 4. Check out the teaser for the "Back in Black" maps below:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is due out on October 13, 2018. Starting tonight, you will be able to download Black Ops 3 for free as long as you are a PlayStation Plus member.
