According to We Got This Covered, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has taken the top spot in the UK sales charts to be crowned 2016's Christmas #1. It faced some stiff competition, but this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise considering the fact that it's the seventh time it's won. What will ultimately knock it off the top spot? Who knows, but for the time being, the franchise is pretty untouchable!
It's easy to see why a new instalment is put out every year with results like these, but you have to wonder if gamers will reach a point when they get sick of Call of Duty. Considering the fact that PS4 exclusives like Dead Rising 4 and The Last Guardian are at #18 and #20, it won't happen just yet!
