Here are the minimum, recommended, and competitive PC specs needed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as well as when you'll be able to pre-load the game ahead of launch.

With just 10 days until the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Activision has shared some critical information pertaining to the PC version of this yaer's game. In a post specifically dedicated to the PC edition of Black Ops 6, Activision revealed preloading times, file sizes, system specs, and more. They also shared a specific PC launch trailer, which you can watch below.

Let's start with the pre-load and laucnh details. We already know Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will officially release on October 25th, but those who pre-order the game digitally on PC can preload ahead of time so they can jump right into the game the moment it goes live.

Pre-loading for PC (as wel as other platforms) will begin on October 21st at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET. The game will officially launch on Battle.net and Steam on October 24th at 9:00 p.m. PT, which is midnight on October 25th on the East Coast.

When preloadin, you can download the whole game package which includes Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.

With the PC specs, nailed down, here are all the different requirements for Minimum, Recommended, and Competitive/4K Ultra. Activision notes that Recommended specs will run at 60 frames per second "in most situations with all options set to high." 

Competitive specs run at a high FPS for use with a high refresh monitor, and Ultra specs to run the game at a high FPS in 4K resolution.

Recommended

  • OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update) or Windows 11 64 Bit (latest update)
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i7-6700K
  • RAM: 12 GB
  • Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 6600XT or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti / RTX 3060
  • Video Memory: 8 GB
  • Storage Space: SSD required with 102 GB available space at launch
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection

Competitive / 4K Ultra Specifications

  • OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update) or Windows 11 64 Bit (latest update)
  • CPU:  AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or Intel Core i7-8700K
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 6800XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 / RTX 4070
  • Video Memory: 10 GB
  • Storage Space: SSD required with 102 GB available space at launch
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection

In addition to the PC specs, Activision recommends getting ready with the latest drivers. Recommended drivers include 24.8.1 for AMD, 560.70 for NVIDIA, and 32.0.101.5972 for Intel.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases on October 25th for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The game will launch with its full campaign as well as a robust multiplayer mode featuring 16 multiplayer maps, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.  It was also confirmed that a Black Ops 6 version of the fan-favorite Nuketown map will be dropping on November 1st. The beloved Zombies co-op mode also returns with Round-Based gameplay on two maps at launch.
