Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to arrive this week on June 26 and Activision has released a new trailer highlighting all the new content coming to multiplayer across Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Warzone.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, we're getting a new Core 6v6 map, Incline. Set in the research outpost in the mountains of Urzikstan, this new snow map features intense fights in hostile weather.
Players can also look forward to new modes and playlist modifiers. Mutation and Havoc are two new game-altering modes where Operators wield mutant powers and the rules of play change over time.
There's also the new Bit Party and Vortex Mosh Pit playlists. In the new Bit Party Playlist modifier, eliminating enemies inflates your own Operator’s head, with expansion head sizes of small, medium, and large. Getting eliminated will reset your Operator’s head back to small.
In Zombies, the new Unstable Rift presents a wave-based combat challenge. Squads will have the opportunity to enter an Unstable Rift throughout their match where they will face off against increasingly intense waves of enemies until they complete the challenge or fail. Completing an Unstable Rift resets the cooldown on all insured weapons and schematics.
In Call of Duty: Warzone, there's been a DNA Bomb detonation at the Popov Power Plant. New pathways have been opened around the point of interest while the surrounding area is now covered in a toxic chemical agent.
There are also new limited-time playlists involving the mutation mechanic, including Mutation Resurgence Quads and Mutation Buy Back Quads. Both Mutation Resurgence and Mutation Buy Back Modes removes all Tacticals and Lethals from ground loot, "allowing you to focus on gathering and enhancing your Operator’s DNA to discover a multitude of mutations!"
Currently active in Warzone, the Runaway Train Public Event remains. This event has a chance to be triggered around the sixth gas circle. When it occurs, players can race for control of the train as the safe zone remains over it until the end of the match.
And lastly, for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, we're getting a new zombie invasion. The Zombie Royale experience is coming in the mid-season update. Players who are eliminated return to the island as zombies. They have the chance to redeploy as humans by collecting antivirals that are dropped by fallen human Operators.
There are also new map features, such as graveyards, hellish crash sites, and undead targets in Verdansk.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Reloaded launches on June 26th.
