Activision has shared some insight into the upcoming Destiny 2, a game many are patiently anticipating. They released a slide-deck recently that had some info regarding when the game would be released, and what were some of the things we could expect in it.
“Full Destiny sequel in 2017 to broaden the franchise’s global reach, which along with follow-on content plans, sets the stage for growth.”
Activision has revealed that Destiny 2 will come sometime this fall, and will feature a great cast of memorable characters as well as an immersive cinematic experience, something the first game did a very good job of fulfilling. The key take away is the next thing they shared, the fact that this game will be more accessible for someone who is into casual first-person shooters, and not larger than life MMO's.
Destiny 2 has a lot to offer, and with the inclusion of studio Vicarious Visions, the people behind the Transformer games and the Skylander series, it's easy to see that Bungie and Activision have some interesting and unique changes in store for the upcoming sequel. Here's to hoping we'll get more info and possibly even a first look as the months go by.
